Kanye West revealed the reason why he thinks Michael Jordan would not meet him. It all began back in 2015, when Kanye West released the song Facts, the lyrics of which involved dissing Michael Jordan’s brand Jumpman. The song was made to promote Ye’s Yeezy sneakers, while Jordan’s brand is a direct competitor to his. ‘Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman’. The catchy music caught Ye on the NBA player’s wrong side. During an appearance on REVOLT’s Drink Champs, Ye said, “Jordan still won’t meet with me. I’m trying to meet with Michael Jordan, it’s like ‘Man, it’s a song, man”.
According to West, Facts was a diss song not for Jordan, but more specifically for Nike. It was a competitive attempt on his side as a newcomer in the shoe business. The Gold Digger singer was the a non-sport personality to do collaborations of this kind.

While the Donda owner gained significantly in royalties from the Adidas sale, it is not close to Jordan’s revenue profits. Which according to you has a better line of shoes? Kanye West or Michael Jordan? Let us know in the comments.
