It’s no secret that she has become the favorite version of this iconic character and is the latest cult actress on Hollywood radar. Not just that, the 20-year-old is receiving back-to-back nominations under the category of best actress for prestigious awards. During the Wednesday press tour in 2022, Jenna Ortega talked about having a supporting family. In the interview, she stated that she does not get any special treatment at home no matter if she has become an internet sensation. The California native said that her family has no interest in the film industry even after they have sacrificed so much for her career. It does not intrigue them whether she is meeting cool people or celebrities at her work.

“They were like, ‘hey, you didn’t do the dishes before you left, so you’re going to have to do them all week’,” remarked the Scream star as mentioned by Marca. 

However, they did ask her once about an actor she was working with. That day was the biggest achievement for the Disney alum and she went to bed with a smile.

Moreover, the Yes Day star is descent from Mexican and Puerto Rican heritage. And if you don’t know, she took the role of Wednesday because of her family background. In her interview with Elle, the actress stated that she wasn’t going to do television, but she agreed so she can represent her culture.
