“I’ve made mistakes” – Kanye West Confesses to Tremaine Amidst Vigil and White Lives Matter Controversy
One of the greatest names in the hip-hop community Kanye West has always been known for his outspoken views. The American rapper is frequently seen in headlines for controversies in his personal and professional life. Tremaine Emory who was the creative consultant and brand director of Yeezy for two years recently called Ye out for using the name of late fashion designer Vigil Abloh. Responding to the rebuking comments of the founder of Denim Tears, West shared screenshots of an abbreviated conversation between them. Kanye West expressed his thoughts about his best friend Vigil Abloh
Kanye West is in the news again after he shared screenshots of a personal conversation with his former collaborator Tremaine on Instagram. In the texts, the rapper stated opened up that he was jealous of Virgil’s success. “I’ve made mistakes, I scream at Virgil, I was jealous of Virgil, I felt betrayed and lied to by Virgil,” stated the rapper.
Moreover, he explained how he was heartbroken after Vigil gifted a green diamond watch to Drake. Despite all the misunderstandings he still loves his best friend and misses him as he died of cancer. Also, the Yeezy owner mentioned his family in the conversation saying “I miss my family.”

Moving forward he recalled the day of Vigil’s private funeral where he wasn’t given a chance to speak about his friend. According to the alleged messages, West wanted to talk to the ASAP Mob including Rocky and Bari. “Don’t let these people split your gang up like they did mine,” read the messages. Therefore, Vigil’s death reminded him of their brotherhood so he didn’t want others to scatter as they did.

Meanwhile, in an interview with French outlet Clique, Kanye West confessed his spite towards Vigil. He felt disappointed when Vigil was chosen as the artistic director of the Louis Vuitton men’s collection because Kanye was offered the position before him but was called off later. Unfortunately, the designer passed out in November last year at the age of 41 in Chicago.
