They say a woman can survive without a man, but she can not survive without another woman. Pink seems to prove this right as she opened up about her feelings for Britney Spears. Alecia Moore, aka Pink, just released her new album named Trustfall. While talking about the album, she opened up about her love and feelings for the American pop singer.
During the interaction, the ‘Just Give Me a Reason’ singer touched upon the Pepsi commercial she did with Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, and Beyonce. In 2004, they did a commercial for the Super Bowl. Speaking to People, Pink revealed, “I’ve always felt like a big sister to her, even though people think that line in ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’ was picking on Britney Spears.”
She referred to her song, where she wrote a line about Spears. “Tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears/She’s so pretty/That just ain’t me,” were the lines from her album 2001 Missundaztood. However, the singer revealed she had always been supportive of Spears and her life, especially after meeting with her parents.
The 43-year-old singer also remembered the time when the ‘Hold Me Closer’ singer used to carry around Pink’s one of the CDs. Spears’ act of carrying around the CD intensified Pink’s love for her. While expressing her love for Spears, she said she was always protective of her.
