Few films immortalize their couples onscreen. On such adorable couple was formed in the 2004s hit Romantic Comedy 13 Going on 30, starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. The world instantly fell in love with their onscreen chemistry and wanted more of it. However, the pair never worked together for no particular reason, until The Adam Project reunited them.
After 18 years of wait, fans will see Mark and Jennifer onscreen together. And it looks like the actors are equally excited about it as fans.

The Adam Project reunites 13 Going on 30 stars
The Adam Project is a film about a time-traveling fighter pilot, Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds), who goes back in time to team up with the 12-year-old version of himself, played by Walker Scobell.
Mark and Jennifer play Ryan’s parents in the film, Louis and Ellie Reed.
Both Mark and Jennifer’s casting created buzz from the time movie was announced. People were dying to see them together after almost two decades of waiting. The two actors have been doing interviews together and promoting the film, and we love it!
Now the actors have also jumped on the nostalgia bandwagon and have strung the cords of our hearts. In a new picture that has been doing rounds on the internet, Mark and Jennifer have re-created the massively iconic sitting on the couch together, a scene from 13 Going on 30.

After years of their first collaboration, it looks like the magic is still there.
At The Adam Project premiere, while talking about reuniting with Jen again and the Avengers actor said that it was like nothing had changed and “It was like we picked up where we left off,”
The casting of Jennifer as Ellie Reed was not the decision of director Shawn Levy. The Stranger Things director has said that it was actually his wife’s idea to cast Jen. And when Shawn presented the idea to Ryan, he pointed out that it would be a 13 Going on 30 reunion.

The director says, “So even though it looks like the smartest marketing move ever, it was strangely accidental, but we got all the benefit of the chemistry that exists between Mark and Jen,”
