In 2021, Billie Eilish became the face of Vanity Fair and opened up about her struggles in the cover interview. The 20-year-old singer spoke about why she usually wears baggy clothes and feels insecure with her body. She recalled the time when she was obsessed with her body and did not eat food just to lose weight.
“I remember taking a pill that told me that it would make me lose weight and it only made me pee the bed—when I was 12,” explained Eilish.
Moreover, the Ocean Eyes singer stated that people body shamed her which made her feel anxious. Therefore, she started wearing clothes that did not show her body. However, things have changed in the last five years as now she feels more comfortable in her body and accepted the way it is. The Grammy-winning singer is in a healthier state of mind and does not consider what people say or think about her body.
