“It is like looking in a mirror”- Ryan Reynolds On His Lookalike Kate Beckinsale
Almost all famous stars have their lookalikes in the industry. In fact, we have our lookalikes too. The most famous lookalikes that come to mind are Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley, Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg, Amy Adams and Isla Fisher and so many more. The recent addition to the list is Ryan Reynolds and Kate Beckinsale.
The Canadian actor shares some uncanny resemblance to the British star. Her eyes and smiles, particularly, make them look so strikingly alike. While Kate acknowledged the resemblance, Ryan also shared his thoughts on the topic.

The Deadpool star appeared on the Today show back in 2019, where he confessed that “it is like looking in a mirror,” he said. Ryan Reynolds and Kate Beckinsale have met each other only once, but Ryan noted he knew about this lookalike thing. Several others have pointed the similarity out to him.
That didn’t stop him from making fun of the whole matter. When a clip of Kate was playing on screen, he pointed at her dress and admitted that he was planning on wearing that exact thing! Furthermore, when the show’s host Hoda Kotb was showing the two star’s photo side by side, Ryan added that he had his lashes done in that picture!

Kate had broached the subject on The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon. Apparently, she often confused his face for her own! Though, Fallon failed to see the resemblance, which made Kate even more adamant about proving her point!

This isn’t the first time the actor has addressed the doppelganger topic. He had previously imposed their images on the 1993’s movie poster Double, Double Toil and Trouble and shared it on his Instagram story. He continued his antics by further tagging Kate! It earned the actor some chuckles.
