The Umbrella Academy fans have been waiting for updates on season 3, and they are walking down the dark path. Thus, fans were looking for clues/hints in Netflix’s tweets, and one tweet gave fans a glimmer of hope.

While Netflix has unveiled the new characters for the upcoming season, fans have no clues about its release date. Naturally, the first instinct of fans when they saw a recent Netflix Geeked tweet was that it marked the arrival of The Umbrella Academy season 3. The tweet that sparked hope for season 3

Netflix Geeked had tweeted a Wordle with a photo of Diego operating a machine. Wordle is a five-letter word game wherein the player has six attempts to guess the correct word the website has picked. The yellow boxes mean the letter belongs in the answer but is in the wrong place. On the other hand, the green boxes mean the letter is correct and in the right place, and the grey boxes mean the letter is wrong.

The covid pandemic gave rise to the game Wordle, which has now addicted its players on Twitter. Netflix Geeked admin also plays the game, and as we can see, they did not have a good day yesterday. Since the admin had tagged The Umbrella Academy account, fans’ confidence grew multifold about the upcoming season 3 release. However, we have cracked the word, and the answer is rather disappointing.

Did the wordle hold a clue to The Umbrella Academy season 3?

Unfortunately, the word of the day was panic, and it wasn’t related to the series. It turns out that Netflix just wanted to make a meme out of the word. The Umbrella Academy involves time travel, which will make anyone panic. But, for us, panic settles in when five out of our six attempts in wordle are wrong.

All the social media admins of Netflix seem to have developed a liking for Wordle. While you might not relate to the memes, the devoted wordle players find it hilarious. Sadly, this means we are back to square one with the updates on season 3. However, it shouldn’t be too long before Netflix announces the release date with a trailer.
