DC fans are beyond lucky to be witnessing the Dawn of Justice take place in real life with the return of Henry Cavill as Superman. When he first took on the role of the iconic Superman back in 2011, people were happy because of how Superman-ish he looked. But no one truly grasped how brilliantly Cavill had played the red-caped superhero. It wasn’t until he disappeared from the DC Extended Universe and fans’ only resort was to rewatch the old movies that his sheer attention to detail was discovered.

Praises on how humanely the actor played a superhero came from every corner. By the time it was 2022, the fact that Henry Cavill’s portrayal of Superman was top-notch and can probably never be beaten had been established. And all that was left to do was beg for the actor’s return to the role that didn’t garner him enough attention before. Earnest push from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s side finally did the trick.

Given the sparkly set of teeth, blue eyes, wide shoulders, witty and humble personality, there are a lot of things that look good on Henry Cavill. Success and the Superman costume being two of them. So it goes with a doubt that he looks absolutely dashing back into his Superman costume.

However, with the latest stills that are out, fans are wondering if he could have looked better. Learning from the last time, fans are very appreciative of Cavill and his muscled Superman.

However, a few concerns have been raised about the costume and overall aura. Similar to the array of comments, when Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel was released that complained about it being “too dark,” the latest look too has been met with the same fate.

But only a portion believes so. Others are in awe of Superman with comments like: “he looks ripped from the page.” Another Cavill fan has stated the very obvious fact that The Witcher alum is Superman, with or without the role.

Some fans also pointed out that Cavill looks best in the behind the scene shoots where his hair is not as gelled.

Suits and frames aside, there has been one thing that has remained a constant with Cavill’s Superman and that is a CGI chin.
