There are only a handful of stories that are as heartwarming and mushy as The Baby-Sitters Club. Comprising a tale of young teenagers and their attempt at a business of babysitting, the show presents itself as something that absolutely anyone can enjoy watching. After the tremendous success of the series, it was no surprise that Netflix renewed it for another season. And now, we finally have for ourselves The Baby-Sitters Club Season 2.

The second season is just as warm as the first season of the show. Like the first season, it explores a rather personal side of each lead character. The show reminds us how important our youth is and how every little thing leaves an impact on us.

In season 1 of the Netflix Original, we are introduced to a couple of teenage girls who come together and start a babysitting business. While dealing with their personal problems, along with the struggle to keep the small business initiative up and running, the girls manage to make it through. Set in Stoneybrook, Connecticut, the girls go through everything; personal issues, family problems, rival businesses, new friendships, disagreements, and much more.

Touching upon themes like resistance, financial inequality, gender, and even mental health; the show does a really great job at talking to the audience in a simple and candid way. Season 1 left viewers wanting more, and their prayers were answered.

What does season 2 hold?

While the show has remained with the whole babysitting theme, the new season explores the lead characters on a personal level. Rather than telling the stories in a combined form, each episode talks to us about an individual girl. Covering various aspects of teen life, including first boyfriends, new feelings, and tragedies, the show will remind you a little of The Gilmore Girls, but with a little less drama.
