I didn’t see myself represented so I didn’t ever feel a need to watch them,” Amarteifio told Radio Times.

Moreover, the Sex Education star appreciated the genre for giving more room to the diverse culture on the small screen. Especially, the Bridgerton franchise that earlier brought many non-white faces, and now the prequel is doing the same.

Also, she expressed her admiration for the showrunner Shonda Rhimes who is trying to bring more people of color in these royal costumes which rarely happened before.
