Millie Bobby Brown once addressed the issue of sexism 

Back in May 2022, Millie Bobby Brown got honest about how sexism makes women feel uncomfortable in the entertainment world. In a cover interview with Vogue, the actress stated that she suddenly started experiencing sexism around her. Elaborating more on her opinion, Brown mentioned, “And I was becoming really aware of it and getting really overwhelmed by it.” She wondered why an actress is hesitant to work or why a journalist focuses more on her dress than acting.

The Godzilla star took it upon herself to find a way that can change these situations for women. She read books on feminism so female actors can get recognition for their work and enjoy all the privileges that men get in the industry.

The young superstar slammed the media for sexualizing her  

You probably remember when Millie Bobby Brown appeared on the Guilty Feminist podcast last year. In her conversation with the host, she spoke about how the press and social media users target her. She openly addressed the issue of how people started sexualizing her when she turned 18 and questioned her dressing choices.  

Brown mentioned that there are many young girls like her who are becoming the target of this sexual discrimination. And she knows about it because she has remained subject to this kind of reaction her whole life.
