Stranger Things is full to the brim with lovable characters, but Eleven is probably the number one on everyone’s list. The less spoken girl with telekinetic powers in the Duffer brothers series won the viewers’ hearts. Millie Bobby Brown was just 11 when she was cast for the role and she played it to utter perfection. Before long she had grown into a beautiful young woman and one of the show’s biggest stars.

But when the Duffer brothers decided to visit Eleven’s past in season 4, the actress had to get back into the skin of timid and frightened Eleven again. And that also meant getting back into the hospital gown and having a very short haircut. The latest behind-the-scenes clip takes us through Millie’s transformation for season 4.

Millie Bobby Brown becoming Eleven and complaining about I Love You’s not cutting it

All of us were fooled into thinking that Millie shaved her head yet again for the role. Behind the scenes revealed that she opted for a wig this time instead of a scissor and buzzer. Her hair and makeup team did a tremendous job in transforming her into Eleven. Her wig choice doesn’t look unnatural at all. We see the makeup team put on very basic makeup on her face. Since Eleven cannot have ear piercings, the makeup team also hides her piercings. The attention to detail is immaculate here.

However, the actress had one complaint. Whenever the makeup team accidentally hurt her or poke her, instead of saying sorry they end up saying I love you. We see Millie Bobby Brown complaining that it “just doesn’t compensate” for the pain caused to her!
