Michael J. Fox is a retired actor who gained popularity for his role in the sitcom named Family Ties (1982 – 1989). He is famous for his role as protagonist Marty McFly in the Back to the Future film trilogy (1985–1990), a critical and commercial success. Fox recently took the stage at the Sundance Film Festival to premiere his upcoming documentary Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie. Although when the actor was young, he wasn’t able to let his father know he loved him. However, he lost his father because of a disease called Parkinson’s. “I lost my dad to Parkinson’s,” wrote the actor on Twitter. Michael J. Fox, who got diagnosed with the same disease when he was 29, starred in a documentary about his life and his disease. While it got a wide emotionally positive response at the Sundance Film Festival, Reynolds also sent the actor a message.

While feeling nostalgic, the actor remembered his father. Thus, he understands how painful it is to be in the condition that Fox has been in for a long time now. Although the Deadpool actor is an idol for many, he acknowledges Fox as his friend, role model, and generational talent. While appreciating the Canadian actor, the Wrexham AFC owner also expressed his excitement for the upcoming documentary, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie.
