Controversial interviews and shocking revelations come hand in hand when we talk of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. Soon after the infamous Megxit, the self-exiled couple sat for what is called the decade’s most controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey. And the trial never came to an end. Month after month, we have had many stirring interviews from the estranged couple who have time and again laid bare the naked truth of the royal family. 

One such interview with the Duchess was last year’s session by The Cut magazine. Although speaking of her in-laws did not seem to be the primary agenda, Meghan Markle still split quite a lot about them all. One such instance was her narrating the present dynamics of his husband, Prince Harry’s strained relationship with his father, King Charles III.

The host, Allison P. Davis, posed a question about Markle’s relationship with her own estranged father. Answering the same, the Duchess drew in the narration of the Windsors. She revealed that the Duke had himself confessed to her, saying, “I lost my dad in this process.” Speaking about it further, she related his situation with her own and affirmed that she never wanted the same for them (the royals) as it was for her. 

Nonetheless, “that was his decision,” she further claimed. For the record, Prince Harry and King Charles III have always had a troubled relationship with their family. In one of his recent interviews with a trauma expert, he had himself confessed that he “always felt slightly different” from the rest of his family members.

However, the already hanging-by-thread ties became all the more strained after Meghan Markle’s entry into the royal family. Although the UK Sovereigns were pretty open to the drastic changes in the system, certain things did not sit well. 

As revealed by Prince Harry in the record-breaking memoir, Spare, everything that should not have happened did happen within the Palace. After things worsened up to a point of a physical altercation, Prince Harry decided to go separate ways with the royal family. And that is exactly how he had to give up on his personal relationships.
