This is not the first time the Bad Guy singer has opened up about her body issues. She has previously spoken about how she has been slut shamed about it.
How did Billie Eilish handle the body shaming?
The 21-year-old singer claimed that she started feeling insecure about her body during her teenage years. She added that what was more painful was the pain that was caused due to the anger she had toward her body. According to Yahoo Entertainment, in her words, “I felt like my body was gaslighting me for years.”

Adding to the issues she had with her big breasts, she opened up about how she used to wear oversized t-shirts to hide them. She had these issues around the age of 18 when people were relating her oversized clothes with her desexualizing herself. The Grammy Award-winning singer also shared an incident where she was on FaceTime with a close guy friend of hers. Eilish was wearing a tank top while she was on the call, which revealed a major portion of her breasts.
Apparently, her guy friend was disgusted and asked her to wear a shirt over it. The singer said that it wouldn’t be a bigger issue if a girl with smaller breasts had worn that top. However, in her case, she got slut shamed for wearing the same. But over time, Eilish has known how to embrace her own self.
She has proudly decided to be the woman she is and show her body. In the year 2022, she released an album called Happier Than Ever, in which she expressed how she achieved a state of self-love. A line in the album says that she is “in love. With my future. Can’t wait to meet her.”
Moreover, she has overcome the insecurities she had and is happier than ever. Tell us in the comments how Billie Eilish’s journey has inspired you.
