The drama surrounding the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the royal family is not coming to an end anytime soon. The Sussexes have always been a favorite entity for the media, especially the British tabloids since their dating phase. However, Queen’s death has placed the couple once again at the center of attention for the global media. 

Every day, some new development goes viral regarding Harry and Meghan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be only experiencing increased media attention in the coming months due to their upcoming memoir and docuseries. It is believed that Harry and Meghan are expecting a lot of sympathy and acknowledgment as the memoir and the Netflix show will be unveiling a rather dark side of the royal family.

Royal expert suggests Harry and Meghan lie low

While the world is eagerly waiting for the Sussex couple to come up with the series and book, royal author Cele Otnes believes that this is not the correct time for Harry and Meghan. She is of the opinion that the extensive coverage of the Queen’s funeral might have already made the Americans fed up due to no real connection with the royal family of Britain. 

Thus, people in the US are unlikely to show a lot of enthusiasm for the products of the Duke and Duchess according to the author. Otnes further suggested that the former senior royals should be away from the limelight for some time and catch up on their lives in the US. It was just a few days back that the couple returned to California after staying in the United Kingdom for over two weeks due to Queen’s death. 

“I don’t think Americans care that much about their brand. We Americans might all be experiencing a bit of fatigue with the royal story, after all the Queen’s coverage,” the royal author told the Express. 

She further stated that other political and economic agendas, like the midterm elections, can overshadow Harry and Meghan.
