“I can’t wait to see them in full flight” – Here Is Who Ryan Reynolds Is Cheering for at the Racecourse Ground
Ryan Reynolds is one man who does it all. From front lining one of the biggest Marvel movies to also being the biggest supporter of the Wrexham football club. However, cheering is not all that he does for Wrexham FC. Over the past years, Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have taken over the Welsh soccer team. But they have done much more than that by restoring Wrexham in all its entirety to its past glory. And this includes the Wrexham AFC Women Club as well.

In order to purchase Wrexham FC, Reynolds and McElhenney have made one of their greatest investment not only in terms of money but also with their support. Despite the jam-packed schedule, the duo make the time to cheer on their teams by showing up to the matches. And it is always an entertainment-packed and enthusiastic session when that happens. Being the Twitter guru that he is, the Green Lantern actor has dropped a hint at which game you will find him cheering on next.
Ryan Reynolds is team Wrexham FC Women!
The Free Guy producer, along with Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia producer, made it clear when they took over Wrexham FC that the women’s programme will be a top priority for them. And they were finally able to sow the seeds for the same when they applied for a tier one license for the Wrexham FC women’s team at the beginning of February 2023. While that is yet to be granted, the team is all set to play their big match against Connah’s Quah Nomads on the 26th of March. And Reynolds was amongst the first to give them a shout-out.
“I can’t wait to see them in full flight,” Ryan Reynolds wrote on Twitter as he encouraged fans to purchase the tickets.
The upcoming match is a big one for Wrexham FC and the fact that they have already broken a record even before the match commences is proof of it. To play at Racecourse, Wrexham FC Women’s team has set a record by amassing the largest Welsh crowd.
