Hunt for Musicians Comes to an End as Snoop Dogg Is “Down” to Perform at King Charles’s Coronation
King Charles’s forthcoming coronation brings us new stories with each passing day. While preparations for the momentous occasion are being carried out at full pace, endless controversies and speculations that have grasped the family are nowhere near an agreement. However, one aspect of the countless challenges of the Crown has been finally sorted out in peace. Making it easier for the Palace, Snoop Dogg becomes the musical savior for Coronation.
Given the west’s selective discomfort with the monarchy, various noteworthy performers had turned down the monarch’s invitation for the special Coronation Day performance at the 11th-century Church. Leading Music Titans of the industry like Adele, Harry Styles, and a former performer at the Royals’ Ed Sheeran had all held back from attending the event. In fact, Sir Elton John, who harbors a special alliance with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has also bluntly denied performing at the occasion.

Nonetheless, the good news for the Crown is finally here. As reported by The Sun, Global tap superstar Calvin Broadus Jr., A.K.A Snoop Dogg has expressed his keen interest in making the royal stage his own. Although the line of stars has declined the gig, Dogg insisted that “I’m down to perform at the Coronation. Make it Happen.”
Speaking of the late Queen, the rapper expressed that he would be happy to pay his tribute to “Queen Lizzie.” It is not an unknown fact that the rapper harbors special gratitude for the Queen herself.

Why does Snoop Dogg love the Royal Family?
Notably, this is not the first time the star has expressed his positive alliance with the UK Monarchy. Back in the day, the late Queen Elizabeth had herself issued an ordeal to let the rapper stay in the Kingdom as he was to be expelled on the account of some charges. He recalled the then-monarch openly confessing how “her grandbabies loved Snoop Dogg.” And those grandbabies grew up to be Prince William and Prince Harry of the Windsors.

Hence, the royal family has long been an admirer of the rapper. And so the superstar is wholeheartedly dedicated to them. “They love my music. There’s mutual love and respect,” he said while expressing his keenness to join the coronation.
