The format
Nicole Remy, a South California graduate, leaves behind her life in 2022 to find love in the 1800s. Set in a 19th-century castle on the English countryside side, Remy is looking for a chivalrous and a family man. All 16 men decked up in 1800s fashion enter the palace to court Remy. One of the contestants says, “May the best man win,” after assessing his competitors.
Dates will take place on the lakeside, in lavish garden parties, and on horse rides. Wooing her won’t be enough as the men have to take her court’s approval. Her court, including her mom, dad, sister, and best friend will have a heavy influence on Remy’s dating life. Just like Bridgerton, the show will have equal parts heart-stopping romance and scandalous affairs. As the suitors battle for Remy’s hand, both hormones and emotions will fly high.

The fairytale romance is to launch on March 6. Originally named as Pride and Prejudice: An Experiment In Romance, you can stream it on Peacock. We have seen plenty of dating shows in the past season including the just concluded Love is Blind. The Netflix show was propped as a social experiment, while NBC’s The Courtship is a Bridgerton-inspired period romance. Until the show hits the network, you can take a chariot back to the regency London and the Bridgertons here.
