Henry Cavill Worked With THIS Fan-Favorite ‘Game of Thrones’ Actress, Before Becoming ‘The Witcher’
Henry Cavill earned massive popularity on OTT from Netflix’s The Witcher. One of the most handsome men in the world has both the physique and skills worthy of a heroic role. But given his career projects, the actor has mastered periodic and fantasy dramas. Perhaps it’s the jawline or the dotty blue eyes, but even his initial gigs in Hollywood were mostly based on similar genres involving periodic war, supernatural powers, and fighting with evil.
It is a surprise that Cavill’s interesting career did not take him to HBO’s Game of Thrones, AKA GoT. The Witcher actor would fit perfectly with the GoT characters and storyline. Despite him not being on the show, the actor shares an unexpected connection with it. Although he may not have been a part of the show, he worked with one fan favorite actress from GoT before becoming a Witcher.

Henry Cavill previously worked with a famous Game of Thrones actress
Before Cavill became a Witcher, he was part of a star-studded periodic series, Tudors, a 2007 showtime drama, which cast both Cavill and Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer. Tudors was based on the Tudor Dynasty, specifically the reign of King Henry VIII. The series gave four seasons running from 2007 to 2010 and was telecasted on channel Showtime. Henry played the role of Charles Brandon, part of the King’s Court, 1st Duke of Suffolk, while Natalie played Anne Boleyn, one of the Queens.

Natalie was appreciated for her role as a pro-feminist martyr in her breakthrough role but the series ultimately failed to make it big. Post that, she went on to work as Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones and though her role was short-lived, the character’s cunning made her an absolute fan favorite.
Perhaps we will see the two working together again in a period drama in the future. Henry himself is a major Game of Thrones fan and also owns a chess set based on the series. In fact, his look in The Witcher was once compared to Khaleesi from GoT. So although he couldn’t be a part of Game of Thrones, the possibility of seeing him in R.R. Martins’s story is possible now that House of Dragons is out.
