What did Meghan Markle do on Women’s Day?

Unlikely to be curated by Meghan Markle but the couple’s Archewell website posted an empowering message on International Women’s Day to “help woman in your community” through “time or funds“. And Markle delivered both ways. The Duchess of Sussex, who now resides in California, made her way to Los Angeles where she treated the owners of a female-run restaurant to a meal. Furthermore, Markle also handcrafted a pop-up baby boutique along with others as reported by People. The actress-turned-royal also provided funds to Harvest Home charity.

This is not the first time that the Duchess of Sussex has led through an example on Women’s Day. They have always worked towards empowering women. In fact, one of the first projects taken by Meghan Markle after becoming a royal was a cookbook to help women affected by the Grenville Tower fire.

And she campaigned for it by raising her voice against a sexist commercial.
