Apart from being sensations in their own field of craft, there is more than Kanye West and Kevin Durant have in common. For those who do not know, Kevin Durant is to be one of the greatest players of all time to step foot into the NBA field. Meanwhile, Kanye is considered a genius for his contribution to the music industry. With 24 Grammy Music Awards in his pocket, there is not a lot of reassurance that West needs when it comes to his music.

Kanye West who legally changed his name to Ye this year is popular all over the music industry for developing the chipmunk soul style. In honor of his late mother, West has named his new Yeezus shoreline after her and will also be releasing Donda and Donda 2 as studio albums in tribute to his mother. Given how much the album means to the rapper, he not only conducted several listening parties but also took input from NBA’s very best Kevin Durant.

What did Kevin Durant say to Kanye West about Donda?

Be it using the No Child Left Behind rapper’s tweet as a shade, liking his posts, or listing him as one of his favorite Hip-Hop artists, Kevin Durant has made his love for Ye pretty evident. Furthermore, the Grammy-winning rapper was embroiled in a lot of controversy with his record company around the time of the release of Donda.

So it is understandable how he wanted to release a path-breaking album, which he eventually did. The rapper unlike his social media persona was ready to take the NBA player, Kevin Durant’s view into consideration while his album was still in the making.

While Durant may be in the grey zone when it came to Donda, Ye’s tenth studio album did wonders when it came to sales charts. It remained at the top of Billboard 200 for multiple weeks and is even certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. You can listen to Donda on Spotify.
