Henry Cavill to Star in Yet Another Bond-Like Film but NOT ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ Sequel
After seeing the world’s second-sexiest man alive in the role of the most loved superhero, fans wanted to see him in different roles, too. And thus, Henry Cavill portrayed the character of the great Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix Original series The Witcher. However, fans predicted the British actor to portray James Bond following his roles as a spy in various films. Mission Impossible: Fallout and The Man from U.N.C.L.E were two films that saw Cavill as an action hero. Although it is also the dream of the 39-year-old actor to play James Bond, he still hasn’t had the chance. Despite auditioning for the role, it proved to be unlucky for the actor. However, the actor didn’t lose hope and continued with the genre. Henry Cavill is ready to play a Bond-like character
Until the British actor gets to play the iconic character of James Bond, fans will continue to enjoy the man in action. According to Giant Freakin Robot, The Tudors actor is signed to be a part of yet another spy thriller film with Matthew Vaughn. Apple TV+ is soon releasing a big-budget spy thriller movie titled Argylle. The film stars the former Superman along with John Cena, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, and furthermore. This film will mark the debut of the singer Dua Lipa, too. However, Cavill has signed another deal with the director, Vaughn.

This mysterious project seems to be the sequel to Argylle. A yet-to-be-published novel by Elly Conway inspired the first action thriller. And as the writer of the novel has already started working on the sequel to the novel, it is believed that Cavill has signed the sequel of the film as well. Therefore, if the first film performs well, there will certainly be a sequel to it.
Interestingly, the first novel is picked up even before the book gets published. This brings excitement and eagerness to the hearts of the fans about the film. However, the Man of Steel actor’s constant connection with the action genre can bring his chances of playing James Bond higher.
