Henry Cavill Of The Witcher Is The Sweetest Person You Could Ever Meet On Set
The mighty demon slayer and an ideal father in The Witcher. The kindest superhero in the DC movies. The handsome and intelligent duke in The Tudors. Many characters and only one name, Henry Cavill! But that’s not all. Cavill is as much generous and handsome, with a sharp edge jawline that might just make him the best man of the decade offscreen as well.
Henry Cavill: The magnanimous man
Cavill is a man of honorable conduct, discipline, and embodiment of the centuries-long metaphysical concept of Carpe diem. Not only a talented actor, but a baker, adherent of video games, and a handsome cook, the Geralt of Rivia and Cavill of London has carved a place in our hearts.

For instance, in an interview with Man of World (via Just Jared), Henry bluntly reveals how he loves to spend his money. “You’ve got to enjoy life! I mean, you’ve got to,” Cavill said. “When I’m making money I’m spending it on nice stuff, whether that be lavish holidays for me and my friends or just seeing something and going in a shop and saying, ‘Yeah, I want that for the house,’ and buying it.”
“Spending money on my friends, buying dinner for everyone, drinks for everyone, it’s a nice place to be, and I like people to feel cared for,” he further said. This statement is the living proof of why people adore Henry Cavill so much.
What it is like to be with Henry Cavill on the set of The Witcher?
Throughout the course of two seasons of The Witcher, Cavill has made the directors, and audience, believe he was born to play the role. And we cannot agree more that no one could have ever fit the role any better given his dedication to the role. Fascinatingly, the Whitewolf is even more admirable on the sets.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, his colleagues shared that his genteel demeanor is typical of the 38-year-old English man. Apparently, Cavill makes it a point to shake hands with each crew member in a shoot, asking them about their day. While finding it an admirable effort on the actor part, some of the crew members do try to tone the actor’s generosity for the sake of the shoot. “It’s to the point where sometimes our ADs are like, ‘OK, we have a huge crew, you can’t ask everyone,” says showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
To his defense, Cavill explains, “A set is often rush-rush-rush, and we forget the basic human decencies. I want people to know I respect everything they do and they’re just doing a job like I am. To me, it’s just respect and good manners.”
Freya Allan also praises her on-screen father
Aren’t we all in love with the father-daughter relationship this duo represents? Well, it’s not just limited to The Witcher world! Freya Allan recently proved that we have put our hearts in the right place. Henry Cavill of The Witcher is a true gentleman indeed.
In an interview with CinemaBlend, Allan recalled how she pretty much depended on Cavill’s first-hand experiences to handle all the media and fan jargon. “I remember when we went to the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), it was my first time ever doing any kind of press publicity stuff. I was basically thrown straight into the deep end, and I was like a rabbit caught in the headlights. If you look back at the interviews, I was literally not saying anything (laughs)!”

She further revealed how kind and supportive Cavill has been on those days, saying, “You know, he’s experienced it so much with Superman; all these major interviews with the media, not to mention, the crazy fans that come with it. So, having that energy, and him being very kind and aware that I’m finding it freaky as hell then, was really, really lovely and sweet. I really appreciated that.”
All in all, seen as hard and harsh in his ways, Geralt of Rivia aka Henry Cavill of The Witcher is the warrior monk we all adore.
