Fans can’t seem to get over Henry Cavill’s mind-boggling performance in Netflix’s The Witcher. Playing the role of Geralt of Rivia in the supernatural series, Cavill touched a lot of hearts. Geralt of Rivia is basically a monster hunter who is quite adamant. He doesn’t shy away from claiming things he wants at any cost. Initially, there were a lot of questions regarding the casting of Henry Cavill in Andrzej Sapkowski’s adaptation.

However, the Hollywood actor stumped the fans as he perfectly embodied the physical and mental manifestations of the silver-haired beast. Fans have been so impressed by the Man of Steel actor that they can’t help but envision him playing other supernatural and powerful characters as well.

There is a section of Netflix viewers who believe that Henry Cavill will be a perfect fit to essay the role of Daemon Targaryen in the House of The Dragon. Fans noticed a starring similarity between Henry Cavill’s character from The Witcher and the Targaryens from the fantasy world of George R.R Martin. 

A fanart has gone viral on Twitter where a fan has imagined Geralt of Rivia in the House of the Dragon as the prince Daemon Targaryen. The fans have overlapped two completely different yet powerful characters due to their shiny silver hair. 

A gist of The Witcher and House of the Dragon

The Witcher and the House of the Dragon are based on similar themes. Henry Cavill’s television series is about a monster hunter navigating through a world where people have surpassed even the monsters in terms of wickedness. 

House of the Dragon, on the other hand, is a prequel to one of the most successful series of all time, Game of Thrones. Set 200 years before GOT, the show focuses on the Targaryen dynasty and its downfall. 

All being said, Henry Cavill doesn’t seem a bad option to feature in the House of the Dragon. Given the trope of the show and theme, Henry might just be a perfect fit for the series. It will be nothing less than a visual delight for fans to see Henry feature in another fantasy fiction.
