There is no doubt about Henry Cavill being a charmer. The actor not only has an enormous fan base but a very varied fan base. Recently, many hearts were broken as DC canceled the plans of making the Man of Steel 2 with Cavill. Despite the DC setback and his exit from The Witcher as Geralt of Rivia, he remains a hero for the masses.

Along with his looks, one of the sexiest men alive is known for his acting skills and attention to detail. The actor’s role in The Witcher and other periodic fantasy-based shows makes for some iconic looks. While some fans tattoo to show their commitment, some others name their babies after them. But one unique furry fan has a whole shrine dedicated to Cavill.

How a French bulldog turned out to be such a big Henry Cavill fan

Henry Cavill has found an unlikely fan in a French bulldog. While the actor loves dogs, they seem to love him back as well. As per FandomWire, a dog on social media has a shrine dedicated to her favorite actor. The dog who is named Rory would apparently stare at the screen whenever The Witcher is played. Her owner, Heather Land, explained. Just to be sure, Land watched the 2013 movie Man of Steel with her dog. As it turns out, the fur baby kept her eyes sealed on the British actor throughout the movie. The dog has more than 5000 followers on Instagram and they asked the owner to experiment further.

She then put pictures of different actors to see if her pet recognizes Cavill. Much to everyone’s surprise, the bulldog did recognize him. As for the shrine, it is made of several of Cavill’s photos, pillow covers as well as figures of his action roles. The owner claims that her dog not only stares at the shrine but is very protective of it as well.

Anyone touching the toys upsets her. Although being a dog, she tends to chew on things, “but never the ones of him”, claims Land. But the world of the internet is often fiction than reality, and human fans are calling the whole thing a hoax. The dog owner is planning to get a cardboard cutout of Cavill as a gift for Rory’s birthday. It will be seen if Rory ever gets to meet her idol in real.
