The entire universe may bask in the glory of the white-haired monster butcherer’s mighty lore. But it was only possible because the melodious bard, Jaskier or Sandpiper as some would know him weaved his exploits into mystical strings of his lute and composed what we now know as The Witcher. And Joey Batey will once again be back with this legend alongside Henry Cavill in season 3 of the series. Yesterday saw the drop of the new season’s teaser and fans are hooked on this one aspect.

Ever since Netflix released the teaser trailer for Henry Cavill’s very last performance as the fan-favorite mutant, fans could not help but register this particular detail. No! It is not about Geralt of Rivia, but Jaskier and his seemingly new fashion staple. His very minute appearance in the one-minute clip has apparently traveled through the continents and has caught the eye of influencers across the world. And all of it boils down to the character’s newfound eyeliner, which has managed to catch fans in a frenzy.

Well, if you have a close look at the trailer, the bard has returned from his far-off voyages to continue his summer tale, but this time around he seems to be somewhat influenced by Captain Jack Sparrow. No, he hasn’t become a drunkard yet, but it is the pirate’s eye makeup that Jaskier seems to have championed. In the trailer, you could see a fine layer of charcoal eyeliner that he has put on, making himself the most trending fashion topic amongst the Twitterati.

While some say it is a “banner day for the bisexuals,” others believe they do nothing but “win.”

Some fans also state that they still cannot believe their eyes. While others confess that the bard wearing makeup has cured their depression.

Some fans were wondering what season 3 Jaskier would look like, while others are bewildered that Jaskier was trending in Twitter under the Fashion and Beauty category.

Notably, the Witcher-heads also believe that following this Lauren Hissrich’s show may entirely deviate from its source material. Furthermore, Jaskier might as well have a male love interest in season 3 or season 4.
