Watching the most handsome man play history’s most bankable detective is a dream of many. Ever since Henry Cavill got detached from his major roles- both that of Geralt of Rivia and fan favorite Superman, the world has made it clear that they want to see him as the next James Bond. Having stepped into the world of Hollywood back in 2001, the British actor has certainly garnered a cult classic fan following with his impressive skills and charming personality.
And a recent poll by the media outlet Giant Freakin Robot about who should be the next progeny of Ian Fleming got Henry Cavill away with a majority of votes (49.5%). The other contenders were the likes of Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Aaron Taylor Johnson, who respectively received 24.7 percent, 14.6 percent, and 11.2 percent of the votes.
Well, this does not come as a surprise though because speculations have to go on for the next 007 since forever and Cavill’s is the name that comes up again and again. Fanatics do know their choices well. The major reasons are his chiseled physique, suave demeanor, and impeccable acting skills. Apart from these, The Tudors actor’s British heritage and multilingual abilities make him the fittest contender for James Bond. However, all these are fan speculations and none of it is official.

The 39-year-old has also signed up for another action spy film, Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, set in wartime.
Moreover, Argylle will also feature the British actor as a secret spy and rumors are up in the air that if not James bond he might as well play an eccentric villain in the next 007 films.
