However, it was not the phone calls but the road trip the two actors took with their families in August that convinced Jackman to have a change of heart.

Speaking of phone calls Jackman added, “I think, actually, he’d given up. I think it was a big shock to him. There was a massive pause, and then he said, I can’t believe the timing of this.” Furthermore, Jackman admitted how the 2016 Deadpool movie had an impact on him.

The Greatest Showman actor added that 20 minutes into the movie he was stunned. Jackman added how all he thought about was the 48 hours with Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. Moreover, shortly after the announcement of Hugh Jackman’s return in Deadpool the fans went crazy.
