For a show that already has too many beloved characters, you wouldn’t think that the Duffer brothers could create anymore so late in the series. But oh, well, they did! And now we have two new characters, Eddie and Chrissy just climbed the list of characters we care about on Stranger Things. Netflix knows that the fans are still hung up over the characters and hence they are still releasing content featuring the two, and fans want more!

The unlikely chemistry between the freak and Hawkin High’s cheerleader  

Chrissy had sought out the Hellfire club’s leader, Eddie Munson, for a bag of weed in the first episode of Stranger Things season 4. But in the woods, instead of exchanging weeds, the two exchanged glances and giggles. The two had some bonafide chemistry and both the creators and the viewers are upset with Chrissy’s premature death.

Eddie showed a thoughtful side of him in their scene together. The girl was clearly on edge and he didn’t push her to buy weed from him. He even looked concerned when Chrissy asked for something stronger. Moreover, it turned out they performed together in middle school – Chrissy performed as a cheerleader while he played guitar for Corroded Coffin.

Chrissy’s horrible death in Eddie’s trailer 

Without knowing she was under Vecna’s grasp, she thought drugs would make the nightmares go away but she was wrong. Vecna gouged her eyes and snapped her bones in Eddie’s trailer. The creators have stated that they would want to bring her back in some capacity for the next season. Even if it’s as brief as Billy’s appearance, we will take what we can get!

If only Hawkin’s popular girl had shared her nightmares with Eddie before, she may have lived to start a romantic flick with the guitarist. But those few moments in the woods are enough for fans to ship them.
