‘The Imperfects’ Trailer Promises Another ‘Stranger Things’ or ‘The Umbrella Academy’ for Netflix Fans?

Too many of the Netflix Originals are either in their last leg or have already concluded. Hence, the streamer has already planned a content strategy that would offer a replacement for these Originals. As part of the Netflix Geeked week, the streamer unveiled The Imperfects trailer. A sci-fi shows that gives us both Stranger Things and The Umbrella Academy vibes. The show comes from The Order’s Dennis Heaton and Shelly Erikson. And Chad Oakes and Michael Frislev are executive producers on the show. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest coming of rage story before the series drops on the streamer.

The Imperfects on Netflix plot synopsis

The sci-fi series follows three 20-somethings who realize that they aren’t exactly human. As a result of unethical experiments on them in their childhood, they have gained strange abilities. Enraged, they team up to find the mad man, who did this to them all while juggling college life and with a government agency on their tails.

The trailer further introduced us to the main characters and gave us a look at the insane events that are to go down. One can shoot yellow smoke from her hands, while another can cause destruction with her voice, and another sort of transforms into a werewolf. Anyway, Dr. Sarakov reminds us of Stranger Things Dr. Brenner and Tilda’s abilities seem similar to that of Vanya Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy.
