Peaky Blinders has always been all about the fierce protagonist of unmatched power and roaring mind Tommy Shelby played by Cillian Murphy. With the ground storyline changed in the new season of Peaky Blinders, Ada Shelby took one of the front seats. However, the role of women in this raging drama has not been very steady, as they constantly come and go. But Ada Shelby is the blood connection that wouldn’t have remained under the shadows for much longer. So the creators gave a high shot to her character as she bluntly came out taking part in the violent businesses of her brothers.

Ada is known for her sharp tongue and even sharper wit, which comes to the fore when asked about the perfume she was wearing in a season 6 clip.

What perfume was Ada wearing?

In a recent post by Official Peaky Blinders on Facebook, we saw a glimpse of this lioness in the embodiment of Ada. In the scene, Isiah comes to pick up an envelope from the office. He finds Ada in the room and comments on the fragrance of her perfume.

He then asks for the name of the perfume saying, “I’ve got a girlfriend with a birthday”. Isiah even questions her place in the company and authority. Ada being who she is lights her cigarette first and briefs him on his task before putting the insolent soldier in his place.

“The name of the perfume is know your f* place solider,” says Ada in her bold and straightforward manner.

While brief, the exchange shows why Ada was the perfect choice to step up when Tommy needed her to. With a strong head on her shoulders, her authority can no longer be questioned and her weapon-like words ensure that.

Ada Shelby heads the muddy business in Peaky Blinders season 6

Sophie Rundle who is portraying the character of Ada Shelby has done an amazing job this season. After the death of Helen McCrory aka Aunt Polly, there were no women who could match up the strength Polly showed. She was the one who put together their chaotic family till now.

While no one can take the place she held in fans’ hearts, Ada has the same fire in her belly. With her becoming Tommy’s political advisor, she boldly leads the muddy waters of the Shelby business.
