Prince Harry just dropped his giant (400 pages to be specific) memoir, highly anticipated nonetheless. It is the very memoir that was earlier being considered a hindrance to their multi-million dollar Netflix deal. However, the famine of the lack of insider royal drama following the Oprah interview has been reimbursed by the once Duke and Duchess of Sussex very generously. They released their tell-all Netflix documentary towards the end of 2022 .

The documentary had enough to feed the omnipresent narrative of the Royal family being racist and mistreating not just Meghan Markle but also their very own ginger Prince in the midst of it. Despite the countless saddening moments in the documentary, it remains formal to a certain level. For instance, Meghan Markle narrates the time she met the Prince and Princess of Wales for the first time.

And instead of calling them rude straight up, the former Suits actress opted for a nuanced “I guess some people are that way” approach. However, Prince Harry is unhinged in his narration in his memoir, making it all the more entertaining. And given that the Prince was transparent in his narration, you can also expect the digs to be just as brutal. However, no one was expecting Air New Zealand to head the race.

Air New Zealand takes a dig at Harry and Meghan

The Prince’s memoir can be loosely divided into three parts: childhood, time in the military, and the third part is amalgamation of his meeting with Meghan Markle and leaving the royal family. And it wouldn’t truly be the Prince’s memoir if there was no mention of his father-in-law, aka Thomas Markle, aka the one who lied to him about his staged paparazzi photos. Furthermore, the memoir takes us all the way back to 2018.

“We told him, leave Mexico right now: A whole new level of harassment is about to rain down on you, so come to Britain. Now,” Harry writes in his memoir. And a recurrent theme in the memoir is the Prince’s tendency to mention almost everything that Meghan Markle paid for. Whether this was in order to prove that Meghan Markle is not a gold digger is unclear. “Air New Zealand, first class, booked and paid for by Meg,” writes Prince Harry.

The only problem is that Air New Zealand does not have a “first-class” at all. Moreover, Air New Zealand also has never had a direct flight from Mexico to England. This has led to the airline being among the first to take a dig at the Prince. “Introducing #SussexClass Apparently coming soon,” the airline company wrote on its Twitter. The memoir that was only released on the 10th of January is already for a strong rebuttal.
