The credits go to none other than some God-chosen personalities, across the world such as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and America’s former First Lady, Michelle Obama, who not only broke away from the social constraints but also showed us a way forward in ways untold, as this new list proves.
The internet stands witness to all empowering black women who have brought colossal changes in societal dynamics. Google’s latest trends and top searches speak for themselves about how influential these women have been. Over time, leading black women like Hollywood A-lister Zendaya, world-renowned champion Serena Williams, and Pop icon Beyoncé, have shaped an era of their own, and are still continuing to this day.

According to Boardroom, a recent report by ThatSister analyzed Google data for top 100 influential black women and had some known names in the top spot. Zendaya overtook the rest of the flock with a search mark of 2.7M. The tennis ace Serena Williams came second as the most googled Black women of 2022 with a mark of 1.6M.
Following her was the Duchess of Sussex and Williams’ close acquaintance, Meghan Markle, who has made her mark in the West epitomizing strong independent women who cannot be restrained by age-old traditional protocols. On the fourth spot was the Pop Icon Beyoncé, whose record-breaking charts have set the tunes for generations to come. Claiming the fifth spot was America’s all-time favorite personality, Michelle Obama, with a search mark of 1.1M.
