Recently, Emily Blunt appeared for an interview on the SmartLess podcast alongside Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. And the actress came into the spotlight after talking about her experiences of working with Tom Cruise. Blunt, while describing her experiences of filming 2014-film Edge of Tomorrow, revealed that the Mission Impossible actor asked her to “stop being a p****y.” Shortly after, the news blew up and recently Blunt cleared the air around Tom Cruise, calling her a p****y.

To put it simply, don’t be angry with Tom Cruise. Recently, the news of the Top Gun actor calling Blunt a p****y on the sets of Edge of Tomorrow blew up. The news took the internet by storm with fans from all over the world were shocked. However, Blunt recently had a few things to say about Cruise in an interview. The Sicario star revealed that she has nothing against Cruise and her story was taken in a wrong context by the media.

Blunt added, “It’s ludicrous that it’s being spun as something that offended me. It was said as a joke to make me laugh, which it did in a big way. And it’s still something we laugh about to this day.”

Furthermore, Blunt admitted that Cruise was a dear friend to her, and she adores the Mission Impossible star. The news first went viral after Blunt appeared on the SmartLess podcast. During the interview, the actress also revealed how she broke down and started crying in front of Cruise while shooting. However, all her sacrifices paid off as the film nearly earned twice of its budget, and it became the 9th highest grossing Tom Cruise movie.
