The actress replied by saying how she hopes it will eventually happen. There were several speculations for the halt including the singer herself. One of the reasons was the difference in opinions between the Queen of Pop and Universal Studios. She herself was to direct the movie. Now, Garner had secured this role after competing over it with heavyweights like Sydney Sweeney, Florence Pugh, and Sky Ferreira.
