Henry Cavill, along with his fans, has spent the past few years in a conundrum of whether he is still the symbol of hope, justice, and strength in the DC universe. Has he been replaced? Has the studio given up on the red-cloaked superhero itself? And after years of begging and waiting, fans were greeted with the worst news possible. Within a month of announcing how excited he was to return to his superhero role, Cavill had to announce that there was no place for him in the DC universe. An announcement that was as difficult for the actor to make as it was for his audience to hear.

But now that the chapter is finally closed, fans are leaping with excitement for whatever projects Cavill is going to choose. The actor not only acting in but also producing Warhammer 40k is a major indication that things are headed in the right direction. Apart from that, Marvel fans have been trying to bring the actor to the other side of the border. At first, when there had been no announcements of whether Henry Cavill will be returning to DC or not, Marvel fans were hell-bent on him being cast as Sentry. But now that the actor is finally cleared from his duties as Superman, the audience wants to see him as Reed Richards.

Henry Cavill is the perfect Reed Richards for Marvel

Given how the actor has spent the past few years making sure he is in the top physique in case he were to suddenly be brought back as Superman in DC, he is all set to play any character in the Marvel universe. Considering the fact that not just fans of Henry Cavill but the entirety of the nerd community is saddened to lose such a brilliant actor’s presence in DCU, the studio would benefit greatly from casting Cavill as Reed Richards. Cavill would not be the first actor to switch from the DC Universe to Marvel after the disservice the former did to him.

While now Marvel fans have prepared fan art of Cavill as Reed Richards, not long ago they were seeing that there would be no better casting than Henry Cavill as Dr. Doom aka Reed Richards’ nemesis. This only goes to prove how great of an actor Cavill is and that fans are really wishing to see him in a comic book world again.
