Ryan Reynolds met the character that would shoot his career through the roof and permanently glue him to the Hollywood elite pedestal in the form of Deadpool in 2016. While Deadpool was authentic and Fox’s take on the ‘not like other girls’ trend with its own ‘not like other superheroes’ character who possesses a cracked moral compass and dark sense of humor, it still could not free itself from the traditional cliche of finding ‘the one’. Along with Wade Wilson or Deadpool at the helm of affairs, there was also his lady love, Vanessa. While the movie portrayed Vanessa to be the yin to his yang, fans think there are far more deserving candidates such as Dopinder and Blind Al.

Reynolds may have stolen the stars from the sky by bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for Deadpool 3, but there were concerns about whether the real homies are coming to town. And Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams have something to say about it.

Will Ryan Reynolds gang up with Dopinder and Blind Al in Deadpool 3?

One of the major announcements apart from its entry into Marvel that Deadpool 3 entailed was Hugh Jackman’s return. And there is not a hint of doubt that he will offer something great to the movie. But Jackman is merely a mortal and Wolverine is merely a mutant. Therefore, the third installment of Deadpool needs gems like Dopinder, the savior, and the literal driving force for Deadpool along with Blind Al, who is the personification of a savage. Thankfully for us, Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams, the mastermind behind Blind Al, will both be returning for Deadpool 3 as reported by Deadline.

Fans feared that Deadpool 3 might pull an Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and forget its favorite characters in favor of the plot, leading them to look for Michael Pena in unusual places such as David Harbour’s interviews. Fortunately, Reynolds understands that he needs his Kirsten Dunst at such a crucial turn. And behind every successful man, there is a powerful woman making it only natural for Blind Al to join Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3.

Deadpool 3 new cast additions

It is a relief to know that Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams will be reprising their roles. But that is not all that Deadpool 3 has to offer. Any Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy project aims to be larger than life.

Given the fact that this is Reynolds’ official Marvel debut, the actor-director duo has some big guns in store, among them is the addition of new cast members such as Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. While it is yet to be official, Corrin is likely to play a villain. Meanwhile, Succession‘s Matthew Macfadyen’s character arc is a surprise.
