Dan Cade as a tough character in The Hard Way
When asked about a portrayal close to his heart, Dan Cade spoke to NetflixJunkie about his film The Hard Way. Starring Michael Jai White, Randy Couture, Madalina Anea, and Luke Goss as the leads, The Hard Way is an action thriller co-written and directed by Keoni Waxman. “I loved doing that. That was a great character,” said Dan about his role as Tony Zito.
In the movie, Dan’s character is a tough Mafia kingpin. Just before an intense fight sequence, Cade’s character Tony faces off Michael Jai White, telling him “who’s boss!” Adding more to that, Dan says, “That’s the kind of character that stays with me, because, you know, you kind of need that sometimes in life. You know, that guy didn’t take any nonsense.”

The film starred the who’s who of the film industry like Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Tommy Lee Jones. “That was an amazing opportunity for me just to get a call from France,” he added.
“Luc Besson and De Niro. I mean, those are two amazing names that I, you know grew up watching all the movies as a kid,” said an almost overwhelmed Dan Cade. The movie is about the notorious Manzoni family that is part of the Brooklyn Mafia.
