Emmys 2022: Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ Set to Lock Horns With Marvel Biggies Moon Knight and Loki Along With the Book of Boba Fett for Multiple Laureates
As the Emmys 2022 nominations are out, there are loads of speculations in the air. Netflix itself has nominations for 35 individual shows, movies, and stand-ups. Overall, it got a total of 105 nominations, which is 24 fewer than last year. Therefore, it lost to HBO and HBO Max, who have gotten the highest number of nominations with 140. One of the major nominations Netflix got was for season 2 of one of its most popular series, The Witcher. Season 2 of this show came out in December 2021.

How many nominations did The Witcher get?
For those who don’t know, the show is based on a book series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski by the same name. The television version for Netflix was created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. The plot of the show is set on a landmass called “the Continent”. It is the story of Geralt of Rivia, who is fated to meet Princess Ciri.
