Emma Mackey makes a blockbuster return with Emily

Emma Mackey plays the role of Emily, Fionn Whitehead portrays Branwell Brontë, and Alexandra Dowling and Amelia Gething play the two sisters Charlotte and Anne respectively. Most importantly, this movie is the directorial debut of Frances O’Connor who hit the ball out of the park with her first work itself. She is best known for her performances in Artificial Intelligence and Mansfield Park.

A master at movie reviews, Jason Bailey from The Playlist, praised France O’Connor and voiced all our thoughts when he said that her first work seems like that of an accomplished master.
