Duffer Brothers Tease Fans About ‘Stranger Things: The First Shadow’ Say It Will Be “a lot of fun”
Three weeks have passed since the creators of the massive hit show Stranger Things teased fans about their first stage show. The videos posted on social media showed that this live spinoff will be based on the biggest terror of Hawkins. The show will follow back the story of Henry Creel before Eleven turned him into a disfigured monster. This news thrilled all the fans who have been waiting for something new since their beloved series will soon leave them. Duffer Brothers have once again hinted at the storyline and mysteries that will capture the attention of attendees.
Stranger Things creators Duffer Brothers recently had a conversation with BBC News about their upcoming stage play. During the interview, the duo revealed that they never expected this writing to happen live. Since when they wrote it eight years ago, it was for television, not a live setup. Adapted by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions, The First Shadow will be staged in London’s West End later this year.

Moreover, Matt stated that the show is going to be “a lot of fun” as fans will meet the young versions of some beloved characters. It includes Jim Hopper, Joyce Maldonado, and Bob Newby as high-school-going teenagers.
“So yes, we have the darkness and the horror that comes along with the Henry Creel story, but then we have sort of the fun and pop that comes from meeting and getting to know young Joyce, young Hopper, young Bob,” he said.
On the other hand, Ross remarked that the play would be much like the Netflix show because they have planned a grand climax for it.
Duffer Brothers never knew Stranger Things will be a grand success
In their interview with the publication, the American directors also recalled the time when they released Stranger Things in 2016. Ross revealed that they were left astounded at the reaction they received from the first launch. They never knew that the series will garner such a huge fandom and several awards.
