Drake’s father has finally spoken up on his son’s latest song. The singer has been in the news recently for having a Kim Kardashian sample in his ‘Rescue Me’ song. Now, the beef between him and Kanye West is nothing new, and their love-hate relationship has kept sailing through the years. Artists often use references or even samples to show admiration or diss each other. However, when Drake used Kim Kardashian’s sample in a new song recently, it created a mad buzz about his beef with West. When a channel posted about it on Instagram, his father commented to clear the air. “Drake is not trolling anyone, it’s just a song, Why try and to create a Kanye and Drake beef again?” he said and added facepalm emojis.
During an episode of The Fry Yiy Show, the Dreamville artist dropped this single song. In the midst of the song, listeners can hear Kardashian tell her mother Kris Jenner how she did not come this far just to come all the way and be unhappy. The sample clip was taken from Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the dialogue is said to be hinting at her troubled marriage with Ye.

If not this time, the singer has certainly taunted West and vice versa before.
Here is how Drake and Kanye West have beefed against each other through the years
For years, both rappers have admired and taunted each other. Back in 2010, Drake wrote the ‘Thank Me’ song where he likely taunted Ye for being a fake idol. As per People, back in October 2011, he also confessed his wish of surpassing West someday in terms of musical success. On West’s side, he once gave out Drake’s home address on social media before deleting it. When rumors of the Kardashian and ‘God’s Plan’ singer came up, Ye asked Drake to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.
