Dr Umar Johnson Thinks Kim Kardashian ‘Absolutely’ Used Kanye West After the Court’s Decision
The divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has stirred up a lot of discussions. High-profile divorces are often much discussed in the public eye because of the sheer amount of numbers and names that it involves. In the case of this fashionable duo, Kardashian had to wait right from 2021 until now to settle the divorce.
While both were billionaires once, Ye lost much of his net worth’s chunk after splitting from fashion brands due to controversies. On the other hand, the court also asked him to pay $200,000 monthly in childcare to Kim Kardashian for looking after their four kids: North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago. But Dr. Umar Johnson appears to have a strong opinion about the court’s decision.

What did Dr. Umar Johnson have to say about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce settlement?
Everyone has an opinion and side to take in the Kanye West and Kim Kardashian divorce. Recently, Dr. Umar Johnson gave his 2 cents on the matter by siding with the rapper. He recently guest appeared on an episode of The Breakfast Club where he was asked whether things would have been different if Ye had married a black woman.
Johnson replied, “Oh absolutely. I think Kim Kardashian used him. … And the fact that they’re making that man pay $200,000 a month in child support when both he and the wife are billionaires are absolutely ridiculous. I think that they wanna break him.”

Johnson was careful with his opinions on Ye though. Even if he sided with him on the matter of divorce, the psychologist disagreed with Ye’s opinions and how he articulates them. The psychologist shared how he feels that the rapper isn’t choosing a side and sticking to it and probably has unaddressed mental health issues that are troubling him. Having said that, he praised Ye for speaking up his mind, for opening up about the exploitation of black music and artists and being the first artist since Michael Jackson to do so.

Meanwhile, the court has granted equal custody rights to the couple, and along with the monthly maintenance, Ye will also be paying half of the kid’s school fees, security, and other expenses. It remains to be seen how long they co-parent without any issues.
