What is more fun than watching absolute mind-blowing movies? Watching them again? Sure. Finding more movies from the same genre? Sure. But let us tell you what the most fun activity is when you fall in love with a genre and watch a plethora of movies from the same. You carefully notice the details in the movie and look for Easter eggs! Well, Netflix’s The Adam Project just makes us do the exact thing. Viewers have spotted cheeky Easter eggs connecting the film to two really monumental projects. So what are those? Let’s find out!

Well, it may come off but surprising, but even though The Adam Project is a Netflix Original, it featured Easter eggs that connect to two different movies from different studios. The two movies are Back to the Future and the Deadpool franchise. But the question remains: What exactly are they?

Eagle-eyed fans picked up a rather minor detail in one scene of The Adam Project. Towards the end of the movie, we see some stickers on one of the trash can lids in Adam’s garage. Now, they may appear to be irrelevant, but if you look closely, they are Hulk and Deadpool stickers. Does this mean that we will see Hulk in Deadpool 3? Or is Deadpool coming to MCU?

Maybe this is a bit of a stretch. But if you are up-to-date with the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you know that anything is possible. So, will we be happy to see Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool join the MCU? Yes. But will we be surprised enough to gasp in disbelief? Maybe not. Besides that, there are already rumors going around that Deadpool might appear in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness.

It is not a time travel movie unless it references Back to the Future

This is honestly a no-brainer because The Adam Project had mentioned Back to the Future in its script. So, honestly, we all saw this coming. But it was still surprising to see how they hid the Back to the Future Easter egg. We see in the scene where both the Adams and their father (Mark Ruffalo) gather to discuss what all has happened. They meet at some distant motel named “Pine Ridge”. Which is, in fact, a clever play at the Twin Pines Mall/Lone Pine Mall from Back to the Future.

Twin Pines Mall is the exact place where Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty (Michael J Fox) first send their time-traveling DeLorean back into the 1950s. In the same timeline, Marty knocks down one of the pine trees from the signboard, and thus it was named Lone Pine Mall. A subtle but hilarious joke and even today make fans giggle. We also see a similar sign for Pine Ridge, but with three pine trees, which are probably hinting at the convergence of three different timelines.

Let us know if you found any other Easter eggs from The Adam Project on Netflix.
