Archetypes by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has once again brought us some major insights into her life. The podcast session took off its wings in the previous week for her amazing session with the Bollywood Megastar Deepika Padukone. This Tuesday she had Paris Hilton, The Simple Life star, and Claire Malone, a prestigious staff writer at New Yorker gracing the show. In a one-hour-long podcast, the trinity broke down some labels of “Bimbo” and “Dumb Blonde”.

Meghan Markle recalls some loathsome struggles of her acting career

Recalling her time as a “briefcase girl,” back in 2006 trying to earn a living, Meghan opened up about some harsh realities that she encountered backstage. Talking about the strict rules that the performers should appear outwardly on stage, Meghan started off by stating how they were handed Spray-tan vouchers each week. “there was a very cookie cutter idea of what precisely we should look like” Markle confessed.

Further elaborating how women objectification decides careers in the industry with Paris Hilton Meghan revealed “it was solely about Our beauty. And not necessarily about brains”. Sharing an instance, Meghan narrated how once backstage at Deal or No Deal, a woman called her out with a swear word. “I knew who she was talking to because she would go, ‘Markell suck!’” expressed the former actress in dejection. 

Meghan ended up quitting the job. She no longer appeared in the show and parted ways after the humiliating incident. “I was thankful for the job but not how it made me feel, which was not smart”, said the Duchess. Nevertheless, soon after she tied the knot with Prince Harry, she had to give up her acting career as a whole. This was owing to the stringent rules of the Palace which also resulted in another never-ending controversy.
