In the first volume of Harry & Meghan, the Duchess made headlines by accusing Prince William and Kate Middleton of being too formal. While describing her first meeting with Wales, Meghan Markle revealed how they were uptight and cold. The former actress also claimed that her in-laws found her hugging nature jarring. Following the serious claims by the Sussexes, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been under fire.

Though no official explanation has been given by the Prince and Princess of Wales, one of their videos has gone viral that debunks the claims. Prince William and Kate Middleton were in the United States on December 02 for hosting the second season of Earthshot awards. In the ceremony, the future Queen Consort was captured, being cozy with the Soccer legend David Beckham. 

How do Kate Middleton and David Beckham know each other?

The Football star David Beckham made a last-minute entry into the Earthshot awards. Kate Middleton seemed extremely happy with the presence of Beckham as she warmly greeted him at the ceremony taking place at the MGM Music Hall in Boston. Middleton and the footballer shared a hug, followed by a cheek kiss. Meanwhile, Prince William also looked cheerful meeting Beckham as they were pictured shaking hands with each other. The informal demeanor of Wales, especially the Princess, has put a question mark on the claims made by Meghan Markle in the docuseries.

In case you do not know, the Prince and Princess of Wales share a close relationship with David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham. The royal prince is an ardent football fan. He has been serving as the head of the England Football Association since 2006. The football legend also invited his close royal pals to his son’s wedding earlier this year. Though the couple could attend the event, they made it up by sharing a sweet note. 

Apart from David Beckham, Ellie Goulding, Rami Malek, and Halle Bailey were the other notable personalities who attended the event in Boston on December 02.
