Meghan Markle is all set to resume work following the demise of Queen Elizabeth II. The former American actress paused all her professional and personal commitments during the official mourning period for the late monarch. Following the Queen’s state funeral, Britain observed a nine-day mourning period until September 26.

Thus, to honor the late queen, Meghan Markle put a temporary halt to her Spotify podcast, Archetypes. The platform released an official statement that mentioned that the new episodes will be delayed “during the official mourning period for Her Majesty.” Moreover, the Duchess of Sussex canceled her red-carpet appearance on September 28 for Variety Magazine’s September issue, Power of Women. 

When is the new episode by Meghan Markle releasing?

The Duchess of Sussex is now returning to normalcy as the new episode for Archetypes will be dropped on October 04. The episode will mark the presence of comedian and actor Margaret Cho. Meghan and Cho are likely to hold a conversation regarding the Asian Americans in the entertainment fraternity. 

Archetypes has been garnering a lot of love and appreciation from all across the globe. Meghan Markle’s podcast made it to the headlines right from its debut in August. The first episode featured the likes of Serena Williams, while Mariah Carey and Mindy Kaling appeared in the further episodes. The Spotify podcast emerged as number one in the world for the first two weeks. In the coming episodes, people will get to hear Robin Thede and Ziwe Fumudoh alongside the Duchess of Sussex. 

Harry and Meghan to spend time with their children

Harry and Meghan were forced to extend their stay in the United Kingdom due to the demise of the former’s grandmother. The Sussex royals initially traveled to the UK to participate in some charity events. However, their trip that was planned for less than a week got extended for over two weeks as they participated in all the services for the late monarch.

Meanwhile, their children Archie and Lilibet were in California only under the care of Meghan’s mother. Since this was the first time that the Duke and Duchess were away from their kids for such a long period, they are now spending some quality time with Archie and Lilibet. Harry and Meghan had flown out of the UK immediately after Queen’s funeral.
