Sex Education literally came, saw, and conquered. It was an instant hit among fans with characters like Otis, Maeve, Ruby, Adam, and the OG, Dr. Jean Milburn. The cast was top-notch, and the writing humorously touched on the topic of sex education and the struggles teenagers face.

The last season left a lot of questions unanswered: Will Maeve go back to Otis? What is going to happen to Moordale? Whose child is Jean actually pregnant with? Eric and Adam, what of them? And so on and on. Finally, the prayers of the fans have been answered and a new season is on its way. 

The fourth season of Netflix’s hit comedy series is all set to hit the OTT this fall as reported by Discussing Film on Twitter. Prior to August 2022, the official Instagram handle of the show and Netflix UK shared that the show was already in production. Not only this, the show has also been joined by Dan Levy of Schitt’s Creek as Mr. Molly.

Sex Education Season 1 dropped in 2019. The show talked about a high-school student, Otis, who was socially awkward with zero experience in the department of ‘love’. With the support of her mother, Jean, who also happened to be a sex therapist, Otis got all the guidance on the subject. When he learned that his fellow mates in Moordale had troubles on the subject as well, he tied up with a fellow student Maeve to start an underground sex therapy clinic to help them deal with the problems.

The last season saw Maeve going to the States, Otis, and Jean adjusting to the new baby in the family and the students facing a new challenge to find a school other than Moordale. With a new season on its way, fans cannot wait to see the future of Moordale. 

Fans are excited about the Sex Education Season 4

As expected, fans cannot wait for their favorite show to hit the OTT and brighten their lives more than ever. While they did not announce much about the insides of the upcoming season, fans are happy to see Otis and Ruby together in the released photos. One fan wrote, “Ruby and Otis should get back together, or I’m not watching.” Another mentioned, “Otis and Ruby again together? I wouldn’t mind, I like them.” 

While fans are excited, some even wanted the show to come a little before fall. One fan wrote, “Finally, should have been released during spring imo, but whatever”. 

Some fans strongly believe that this should be the last season of the show as a lot of characters have left, including Simone Ashley, Tanya Reynolds, Patricia Allison, and Rakhee Thakrar. Not only this, but Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey have also hinted at leaving the show and bidding it farewell. One fan wrote, “Make it the final season”. While another said, “Hopefully the last one because everyone’s leaving”. Last season or not, fans are still eager to see what happens to their favorite characters in the show.
